We've dedicated our first episode of the Boom Bap Club podcast to Heavy D. Heavy D, who's real name is Dwight Arrington Myers, Passed away November 8, 2011. For our show, we've focused on Heavy D's more rugged hip-hop output. We've bookended the show between the DJ Premier produced "Yes Y'all" from the Heavster's 1992 album Blue Funk and a deep cut from Pete Rock's Soul Survivor, "Massive (Hold Tight)".
