<p>We&#8217;re approaching the end of a long, cold winter at Bloody Lake.  The weather in March often is a mix of freezing rain, and then snow.  The meteorologists like to call it &#8220;Wintery Mix&#8221;.  Whatever you call it, we have to deal with it!  One way Paul, Saul and Oak Groove deal is by getting together for some winter fellowship around the turntables.  This episode is a mix of cold weather themed songs and songs that have a wintery vibe.  It should be no surprise that we&#8217;ve front loaded the show with a lot of Minnesota artists.  We also explore the music of the Bronx tough guy, Tim Dog, who passed away this last Valentine&#8217;s day.  Jesse White, Currie, Minnesota&#8217;s most prolific Fine Artist joins us as well to talk about his new gallery exhibit that is currently showing in Marshall.  If you&#8217;re easily offended by strong language, you should just skip this episode as foul language often goes hand in hand with the cold, dark, wintery themes we explore in this one!</p>

<itunes:summary>In episode #8, the posse looks back on 2012 with an ear for crackin&#8217; snares and boomin&#8217; kicks like it&#8217;s the closing of 1993 all over again.  Saul Goode, Paul Dunyon and Oak Groove pick their favorite local, national and international joints from 2012.  As usual, Saul talks about the SP1200 ad infinitum, Paul breaks into song, and Oak schools everyone on funk and breakbeats.  Finally, Southwest Minnesota&#8217;s KRST (cursed)  Records crew blesses the show with a live performance.  So long 2012, hello 2013!
