The hiatus is back off again! For BBC #4, we give tribute to Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys. If you are hoping to hear Fight For Your Right To Party and all the other hits, look elsewhere. Our crates run as deep as our affection for the Beasties brand of humor and music and our MCA tribute show reflects that. In other words, the b-sides win again! Enjoy.
In the Beastie Boys track Do It, Biz Markie says “let’s do it with the disco flute” yet no flute samples appear in the track. Hmmm… I’ve listened to that song many, many times and I’m just realizing this now. Interesting.
Does he say “disco flute” or “disco fluid”? I always thought he was saying fluid.
